Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1915. Standard 20" round Winchester Steel barrel with standard carbine sights and Winchester address with .44 W.C.F. caliber marking. Standard Winchester bright blue finish, saddle ring, case-hardened lever and hammer, plain trigger, and standard full length magazine. Standard plain walnut stocks with blued barrel band and blued carbine buttplate. CONDITION: 90% fading original barrel blue with edges turning silver and muzzle showing some case wear. 85% + magazine tube blue starting to fade to a silvery patina. Action cleaned to a silvery patina. Case-hardened parts have faded to a brown patina. Wood has been cleaned with some light bruises. Buttstock has some dings in the wrist area and other noticeable bumps and bruises. Bright and shiny bore with sharp rifling and great mechanics.
