A nicely gathered group of Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) medals. The lot consists of: (Top Left) Post Commander's badge, serial number "W11122", no patent date; (Second from left) GAR medal serial number "32854", no patent date; (Third from left) GAR medal serial number "54174" (partially obscured), no patent date; (Third from right) GAR medal serial number "B66497", no patent date; (Second from right) GAR medal serial number "W127" patent date of 1886; (Top right) GAR medal serial number "C1292" with patent date of 1886. There is also one medal missing ribbon and eagle, no serial number. Also included is a Sons of Union Veterans medal, along with a Spanish American War veteran's medal serial number "B61338". Lastly, there is a vibrant GAR postcard dated 1910. Also included are 3 miscellaneous medals, including a Woman's Relief Corps medal, GAR medal without ribbon, and GAR post 78 ribbon. CONDITION: Varying, with most medals exhibiting a mellow patina. Some ribbons are lightly frayed with staining. A very presentable display.
