Lot consists of: (A) Civil War officer's sword belt and plate, with partial hanger. Plate and keeper exhibit matching number "469D". Belt is leather-wrapped cloth and exhibits areas of dry cracking and creasing. A few significant cracks by hanger, plate exhibits a pleasant patina. CONDITION: Fair. (B) Civil War holster, possibly for the 1860 Army, as the holster can accommodate a 7" barrel. No visible maker marks and the holster displays the impression of a revolver it once housed. Leather is stiff and dry, but complete with full flap, securing strap, brass finial, belt loop, and toe plug. Securing strap is broken. CONDITION: Good. (C) Civil War unmarked cap box in standard configuration and complete. The leather is smooth, but the inner flap exhibits significant cracking. Condition: Good. (D) Civil War mess set with a folding spoon, fork, knife, bottle opener, etc. Grips are all ivory, folding knife exhibits partial name. Housed in a fine leather roll-out wrap. (E) Civil War era flask marked "W.T. FRY'S PATENT OCTOBER 20, 1863" on the throat and marked "WT FRY" on lid. Glass construction with a metal cup and lid. CONDITION: Good.
