Built as one of only an approximated 50 left-handed Japanese-made Mauser style actions imported by iconic gunsmith P.O. Ackley in the 1970s. Matte black finished with a tapered round barrel chambered in .30-06. No iron sight provisions, but a Leopold 3-9X scope is mounted. Action stamped on left side "P.O. ACKLEY / SALT LAKE CITY UTAH" and on underside "MADE IN JAPAN". Correct side safety and dog leg bolt. Outfitted in a figured walnut stock with forend tip and pistol grip accents, Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and Decelerator butt pad. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the matte finish is retained, barring some minor handling marks. Stock likewise has only a few light impressions. Bright mirror bore displaying crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Optic is clear.
