Lot consists of: (A) Circa 1870s US officer belt with accouterments. Plate is the Pattern 1874 with a bar attachment on the reverse and a wide tongue. Holster is unmarked but can accommodate an 1860 Army. The belt also features a Civil War cavalry pistol cartridge box and is marked by Gaylord on reverse, as well as an unmarked cap box and sword hanger marked "R.I.A". All leather accouterments exhibit intact belt loops, brass finials, and leather securing straps. Leather remains pliable with scattered light cracking. A very nice and displayable belt. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Unmarked officer boots. The boots appear to exhibit a repair on each sole and measure approximately 20" high from the heel. The leather is pliable with stiffening inserts supporting the boot's shape. CONDITION: Good.
