Lot consists of: (A) Crankshaw Southern Cross of Honor. This example is a type II which were not numbered and date from 1900-1904. Marked "CHARLES / CRANKSHAW / ATLANTA" and "PATENTED" on reverse. External thread and lapel stud, named to "R. JOLLIFF". Nice patina with maker mark obscured. (B) West Virginia Civil War Service Medal, “Honorably Discharged” top bar, impressed “WILM HAYS CO E 1ST REG VET INF VOLS". Contained in original box marked to Hayes in pencil. Nice patina with box exhibiting stains but sturdy. (C) Civil War UCV memorabilia including a New Orleans 1903 2-piece bronze pin, a watch fob from the 39th reunion in 1929 marked "MEYER & WENTHE / CHICAGO" on reverse, and an Amarillo 1935 45th reunion pin. (D) Spanish American War Pennsylvania National Guard marksman medal and Camp D.B. Birney 1897 Maltese cross medal. (E) Small Arms Practice and 10 Years Faithful Service medal both marked by Tiffany & Co on reverse. CONDITION: Varying with medals exhibiting a nice patina.
