1 of approximately 7400 2nd generation Single Action Army manufactured in 1961 commemorating Colt's 125th anniversary, roll marked on the barrel "- 125th ANNIVERSARY - S.A.A. MODEL .45 CAL. -". Blued finish with gold-washed grip straps and small parts. Fit with a 7 - 1/2" barrel with blade front sight, frame notch rear sight, 6-shot fluted cylinder chambered in .45 Colt, and 2-piece smooth walnut grips inset with rampant Colt medallions. Housed in a correct French, dovetailed wood display case. CONDITION: Very good. Revolver retains the vast majority of its blue with some areas of thinning and a light turn line. Traces of gold wash retained in protected areas. Grips are very good with minor marks. Very fine bright bore displaying crisp rifling. Fine mechanics. Case is near excellent.
