Manufactured 1981 per serial number. Standard configuration for these rare variants of one of the finest revolvers of all time, with an 8" vent rib barrel with "PYTHON SILHOUETTE" rollmark, caliber designation and Colt's information on right side of barrel. Normal Colt proofs throughout. Mounted with the correct Colt-Leupold N8-2x extended eye relief scope. Pachmayr grips with golden Colt medallion. In the correct aluminum case with foam French fitted for the gun, manual, a Case-Gard cartridge box with Colt logo on lid, cleaning rod, and a small Case-Gard Ammo Pouch with small loops. CONDITION: Overall excellent, retaining the vast majority of the factory bluing with some minor marks from handling and careful use. Burnishing visible in VP proof. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Case and accessories excellent. Optic is clear. An excellent example.
