Manufactured from 1868 to 1882, quickly becoming an iconic self-defense revolver that could also be used as a set of brass knuckles due to its distinctive grip shape. Fit with a standard blued 7-shot pepperbox style cylinder chambered in .22 rimfire with early production safety mechanism. Frame is silver plated brass with factory foliate scroll engraving and an engraved shield on the backstrap. CONDITION: Fine. The vast majority of the silver plating is retained with some edge wear and flaking. Iron components have drifted to a dark patina. Good mechanics.
