S/N 105056. .44-40 caliber, 20 inch barrel, Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, 3rd Model. Blued finish, walnut stock and forearm, updated sporting rear sight. Circa 1882. Condition: strong rifling with black powder oxidation, metal finish largely thinned to chocolate brown patina, wood has some abrasions with a frontier wire repaired broken stock, action requires attention.
