S/N 12676. .44-40 caliber, 20 inch barrel, Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, 1st Model. Blued finish, walnut stock and forearm, carbine sights. Circa 1876. Condition: strong rifling with black powder oxidation, metal finish largely thinned to brown patina with some cleaned oxidation, wood is very good with scattered marks and a repair at tang, good mechanics.
