Lot consists of: (A) World War II US Army Airborne artillery uniform. Ghosting on left shoulder. 5 bullion overseas bars on left cuff. Airborne artillery jump oval with theater-made unmarked airborne glider wings. 7-place sewn ribbon bar with bronze star and Europe Africa Middle East ribbon with 5 campaign stars. Matched pair of sterling first lieutenant bars on epaulettes with US and artillery insignia at collar. High-quality lining with original Albert More tailor label. Complete with belt and all buttons. Snap at belt is loose. (B) Splendid French made US Army Air Corps Lt. Col.'s Ike jacket with great bullion wings, collar, and rank insignia. Bullion 9th Air Force SSI at left and Air Corps SSI at right shoulder. 3 Bullion overseas bars at left cuff. Sewn 6-place ribbon bar with Silver Star, DFC, and Air Medal. French tailor label stitched to high-quality lining and dated 1944. Accompanied by Knox overseas hat. (C) High-quality officer's "pink" shirt with beautiful 20th Air Force patch at left shoulder. (D) Calcutta maker marked bush jacket with matching shorts. CONDITION: Uniforms are clean overall and only exhibit minor blemishes typical of old wool and uniforms. A very nice offering.
