Woodsman Match Target manufactured by Colt in 1956. The left side of the barrel bears Colt's single line addressed followed by the Rampant Colt logo above "MATCH TARGET", with "COLT" and "AUTOMATIC/ CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" stamped on the left side of the slide. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. 6" barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. Pistol is accompanied by an original Colt factory box containing 1 spare magazine, factory paperwork, and a matching Colt factory paper test target. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some very light edge wear, as well as a few minute superficial marks from handling and storage. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few superficial handling marks but are otherwise fine. Box shows exterior wear, with the bottom panel bearing a tear at the bottom right corner.
