Manufactured in 1964. Thick blade front sight, wind drift adjustable U notch rear sight, ring hammer. Internal extractor. Synthetic pearl grips. Engraved with deeply cut Renaissance flowing florals and tendrils. No engraver's signature observed. Belgian proofs. Housed in a display case French fitted for the pistol and with a brass escutcheon on the lid. CONDITION: Fine, retaining the vast majority of finish with some very minor marks from handling and use. Some minor lifting of nickel in slide serrations. The engraving is crisp and attractive. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand; the bore is excellent with crisp rifling. The case has some handling marks and rubs to finish, particularly on the lid. An attractive example.
