28" Excelsior steel mono-bloc barrels with a white plastic forebead and steel midbead on a vent rib with a 3/4 length connecting rib between both barrels. Proofs are for a 2 - 3/4" chambered gun with nominal IBD of 13.9; BU date code for 2004. Import marked for Beretta USA. Currently installed choke tubes are both Skeet. Round nose game forend with panels of wave pattern checkering and a Deely style latch release is number on interior iron. Case colored boxlock action has a pair of gold inlaid quail on left side, and grouse on right, with scroll enhanced by punch dots and shading. Bottom of action with model designation and a golden oval with Beretta's triple arrows. Single inertia-driven selective trigger, automatic safety. Ejectors are very slightly out of time, but both fire. Well-grained walnut pistol grip stock with adjustable cheekpiece is checkered in two panels about the wrist. Vacant silver oval at toe line, brown Decelerator pad. Housed in a blue Beretta case with manual, choke wrench, adjustment tools, and a pair of Improved Cylinder chokes. CONDITION: Barrels retain virtually all of their bluing with some minor marks from handling and use. Boxlock is very good with colors silvering at high edges and reciprocating areas, engraving crisp. Wood is very good, except for 1 strike through checkering on left side, approximately 1" long. Mechanically fine, bores are very good with some frosting towards chambers. Lining glue of case has failed and foam is deteriorating.
