32" barrels are made of Excelsior steel and built with classic Beretta mono-blocs, a vent rib with anti-glare matting, shrouded white plastic front sight, steel mid bead, wire cut porting, and a 3/4 length vent rib between the barrels. Barrel proofs for 3" chambers, Optima-Bores, a nominal IBD of 18.6, Italian nitro proofs, Beretta import mark, and BT date code for 2003. No chokes are currently installed in the 12 gauge barrels. Schnabled round nose forearm with point pattern checkering in two panels, a Deely latch release with light floral engraving and "Beretta Gallery" in gold wire, and an inlaid shield with "PB" over crossed branches. Side lock action has near complete coverage of floral scroll with interspersed flowers, shading, and punch dot accents, vignettes that read "P. Beretta Giubileo" on both lock plates, masterfully cut by Giovanelli and signed "Bottiga C. Giovenelli inc. E. Fatti" left of trigger guard. Ejectors are strong but ever so slightly out of time, top firing first. Non-automatic safety with barrel selector, single mechanical trigger with gold washed bow protected by trigger guard with floral engraving en suite. Stock is made of a well-figured firey-grained burl walnut with a pistol grip checkered in 2 point pattern panels about the wrist, an adjustable comb, and a Decelerator buttpad. Housed in a Briley branded aluminum case with subgauge inserts for 20 gauge (marked for a .616 IBD, current chokes are both IC), 28 gauge (marked for .551 IBD, IC installed in both barrels), and .410 (marked for a .408 IBD, installed chokes are IC). Case contains appropriate choke wrenches, but no additional tubes. Another set of 28 barrels is included, with 3" chambers and nominal proofs for 18.4 IBD, serial numbered on the lug with matching "GIU082A". CONDITION: Barrels with virtually all of their original bluing, with some distension around proofs from application, some minor marks from the field, and which have very minor silvering. Forearm excellent, with some very minor handling marks. Action is excellent with crisp engraving, very light haloing at breeches, some other field-associated minor handling marks. Wash is lifting off bow on right side, commensurate with use. Stock is excellent with some handling marks with a few abraded heads on right panel of checkering. Pad is soft and pliable. Mechanically fine, bores are excellent with some minor firing residue; ejectors are strong, very slightly out of time with top firing first, lockup is tight, barrels ring like bells. This is an excellent gun ready to excel at whatever discipline one might favor.
