Lot consists of: (A) Circa 1790s-1820 eagle head pommel sword that features a straight blade with spearpoint. Wide fuller that travels the length of the blade with no visible maker mark. Blade exhibits a light gray patina with delamination and scattered blemishes. Stirrup hilt with open work crossguard and eagle head pommel with target eye. Hilt exhibits a pleasing patina with scattered blemishes. Carved ivory grip with honey patina. CONDITION: Good. (B) Circa 1800-1820 eagle head pommel sword that features a straight blade with spearpoint. Wide fuller that travels the length of the blade with no visible maker mark. Blade exhibits a gray patina and is decorated for just over 1/4 of its length with fire blued panels and patriotic and foliate motifs. Obverse features a liberty cap and reverse is marked "Warranted" just above the ricasso. 5-ball guard and knucklebow with eagle head pommel. Hilt exhibits a pleasing patina with scattered blemishes. Carved ivory grip, with possible early cleaning, remains intact with no major chips or cracks. CONDITION: Good.
