Manufactured in 1903 according to Maddis. Polish blued 24" octagon Winchester proofed barrel chambered in .32-40 with full-length magazine tube and 2-line barrel address. Dovetail blade front sight and sporting rear. Blued solid receiver with case-hardened hammer and lever. Standard 2-piece American walnut stock with blued steel nose cap and solid crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bountiful amounts of factory blue are retained throughout with some light high edge silvering and toning. Some areas of cleaned oxidation are present on the right side of the receiver. Loading gate retains 85% bright nitre blue. Significant portions of strong case colors retained on the lever and hammer, some areas fading to patina. Stocks are fine with some scattered marks. Very fine bright bore displaying well-defined rifling. Mechanically fine.
