SST. A well displaying C. 1930's Tin Service Station Sign from Hood Tires showing early Bowtie Flag man graphic. CONDITION: Sign is in overall fair condition showing very good color with areas of paint wear and surface scratching throughout the entire field as well as minor areas of paint loss in the upper and lower field. Sign shows moderate scratching and wear but shows a clean Flagman graphic and although worn has an excellent patina type look to it. Sign is mounted in the original wooden frame with original wooden backing showing moderate wear with areas of cracking and distress but displaying the sign well. A scarce piece of Hood Tires advertising with an eye appealing look.
