Lot consists of: (A) US M1832 foot artillery sword in standard configuration marked "N.P. AMES / SPRINGFIELD" and "UNITED / STATES / 1833". Hilt is marked "S. HUSE NEWBURYPORT", as well as being inspector stamped. Hilts made by Huse had received complaints for loosening up and were made in house by Ames after 1834. Blade exhibits a gray patina which is heavier in some areas, including the edges. Hilt exhibits a mustard patina with scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good. (B) M1841 Naval Cutlass in standard configuration with moderate gray patina on blade and no visible maker marks. Hilt exhibits a pleasing mustard patina with all rivets in place between the scale grips. CONDITION: Good. (C) Saber bayonet with "B" marked ricasso. Blade remains bright with scattered light blemishes. Hilt exhibits a pleasing patina with scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good.
