Matching serial numbers observed on rammer, wedge, barrel assembly, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder. Classic 7 - 1/2" barrel with a flattened bead front sight, top strap with "ADDRESS COL: COLT. LONDON", cylinder with Ormsby Naval engagement scene. Typical British proofs on left side of barrel assembly and cylinder. Punch marks adjacent to serial numbers observed on butt, frame, and trigger guard. Light engraving in approximately A class coverage with floral scroll with hatch shading, florals on recoil shields, vignettes on either side of loading assembly of sprawing florals with central checkered devices. Hammer with fish scaled top. Silver plated brass trigger guard and backstrap. Modern single-piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Barrel and cylinder have been reblued with some areas of oxidation visible throughout. Engraving is crisp throughout. Cylinder scene rerolled, safety notches are have completely worn off. Frame with someone more oxidation than balance, legends softened by cleaning. Grips are very good with handling marks. Trigger guard and backstrap with approximately 70% remaining silver plate. Engraving is aftermarket but well executed. Mechanically fine, action has 3 clicks, bore has strong rifling and oxidation and frosting throughout.
