4-barrel cluster is completely unmarked except for a small "EX" on upper left barrel and short chipped line decorations around boxlock. Classic boxlock action with tap to open flash holes to bottom barrels. Boxlock action devoid of any marker marks other than engraving. Stock is Belgian or First Empire French-influenced with octagonal pommel, borderless checkered panels, and silver wire inlay, some of which is braided. Double triggers and push-on safety. Grip spine is inlaid with more braided silver wire, geometrics, and florals. CONDITION: Metal is essentially bright metal throughout, with some areas of oil staining and handling marks, but none serious. Stock is very good with some handling marks and bug nips, silver lifting in several places; exercise caution. Mechanics untested, as cock screw appears to be repaired. Bores are good. An interesting example.
