An unusual French made folding trigger double action 7mm centerfire pepperbox inscribed on the top strap "Devisme a' Paris". Interesting tip-up fluted 6-shot cylinder with bead front sight and silver plated brass center pin. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut, the right panel retains an older, mostly illegible collection label. Complete with a removable ramrod which doubles as a pommel. CONDITION: Good. Steel components display an even, cleaned, gray patina with a freckled surface. Grips very good with a few marks. The right grip escutcheon appears to be a replacement. Action cycles in double action but does not index correctly or hold in single action.
