Manufactured circa mid 1980s. Brilliantly nickel finished with an 8 - 3/8" round barrel, ramped partridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, 6-shot fluted cylinder chambered for the iconic .357 Magnum cartridge, case hardened wide target trigger, square butt N frame, and 2-piece checkered walnut oversized target grips inset with S&W medallions. Housed in a proper dovetailed wood S&W case with inserts, still sealed tool bag, and paperwork. CONDITION: Very good overall. Nearly all of the factory applied nickel is retained throughout with a faint turn line and handling marks. Grips are good, the left side showing some staining and finish loss. Very fine bore displaying sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Case is externally very fine, with the interior foam degrading.
