DSP. An incredibly clean and fresh to the market example of this iconic Porcelain Sign from Sinclair Aircraft Gasoline showing Airplane graphic as well as Sinclair Aircraft script. Sign features the iconic Aircraft graphic on each side with heavy "orange peel" textured porcelain throughout. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding showing excellent color & gloss throughout the entire field showing no chipping in the inner or outer field with only a minimal amount of light surface scratch. Side one shows one chip in the upper outer green band as well as approximately seven smaller sized chips along the outer edge, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the entire field showing an outstanding condition graphic as well as script. Side two shows minimal scratching in the inner field as well as a few areas of factory flaw fill in the porcelain. Side two shows a scratched area above the "R" of Aircraft as well as some minor discoloration above the "F". Side two shows some minor discoloration at the "A" of Aircraft. The outer band shows some minor surface scratches as well as light areas of chipping along the outer edge but overall excellent, Grade 8.9+. One of the finest examples of this iconic Sign we have ever sold and an excellent piece of highly sought after advertising from Sinclair Aircraft.
