One Piece Baked Globe. Globe is Dated September 17th, 1929 with "Made In USA" Ink Stamp along the outer collar. An incredible example of one of the most iconic Globes ever produced for any category of advertising, one of the finest examples of this Globe we have ever sold from Musgo Gasoline. Globe shows the iconic hand painted Native American graphic at the center with "Michigans Mile Maker" script along the bottom, a product of Muskegon Oil Company, Muskegon, Michigan. CONDITION: Side one is overall brilliant throughout showing a highly colorful hand painted Native American graphic with virtually no notable wear as well as a very strong light blue backing. The outer field shows deep orange & green colors with no areas of fading usually seen in this Globe, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also bright and striking showing outstanding color & gloss throughout the field with a bright and colorful graphic. Side two shows some very faint storage lines in the green but are not overly noticeable and the outer field is also brilliant showing rich color with only faint storage wear, Grade 9.0+. Globe shows an outstanding condition body showing no notable wear and the base shows only a couple of very minimal nicks with no areas of cracks. One of the finest examples known of this incredible piece of advertising from Musgo Gasoline.
