Frame is numbered 33344 with LD inspection, left side with 3 line patent address and "U.S." stamp; "H" in hammer slot. Cylinder is DFC inspected and numbered 4276. Trigger guard is of later manufacture and numbered 84505. Backstrap has been renumbered to match. Single-piece walnut grips devoid of any cartouches. CONDITION: Barrel is a smooth chocolate patina with flashes of gunmetal grey at the muzzle and bluing in protected areas, particularly at joint with frame, and some light darkness and oxidation. Ejector rod with heavier areas of oxidation throughout. Frame with approximately 10-15% case colors in deepest recesses, such as loading gate recess. Cylinder with blue in flutes and heavy turn line, legends somewhat soft. Trigger guard is very good as new. Backstrap is essentially gunmetal grey. Grips are very good, with some handling marks. The entire gun has been hit with ClearCoat or equivalent. Mechanically fine with all 4 Colt clicks; bore has good visible rifling and some oxidation throughout.
