One of the more unusual Civil War period revolvers, cycled by a small finger loop lever within the trigger guard. This example features a 7" octagon barrel, brass pin front sight, faint 3-line patent marking on trop strap, 6-shot percussion cylinder, and 2-piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Revolver displays a mottled brown patina with some freckling mixing with what appears to be the original finish under a thick layer of protective coating. Grips are very good replacements with scattered impressions. Strong bore with well-defined rifling and some black powder abrasion, especially in the grooves. Mechanically fine.
