An excellent and untouched World War II Japanese bring back grouping named to Corporal Leland A. Morgan, 306th Medical Battalion. Interestingly, the bring backs mostly consist of Japanese medical items, indicating Morgan must have been interested in his enemy's medical equipment. The group consists of 2 trunks that each measure approximately 24" x 13" x 10". Both of the trunks exhibit the original US customs labels and state that the trunks are subject to inspection and are addressed to Mrs. Leland Morgan. There are 2 Japanese medical bags, 1 leather and 1 reinforced canvas. Each bag is filled with medical items, including bandages, rusty medical tools, folding knives, sea shells, a cigarette case, bottles contained in their original screw top case, etc. There is also a Japanese bugle, a knife, and Morgan's original discharge papers. The trunks exhibit nice aging with paper labels that remain nicely intact. The medical bags also remain intact with scattered blemishes from wear and storage. Contents of the bags vary in condition, with some of the medical tools are in relic condition while others are good. A very nice bringback group with some interesting souvenirs. CONDITION: Poor-good.
