Made by Smith and Wesson Arms Company between 1881 and 1913; this one is serial number 137, most likely making it a first-year gun. Original nickel-plated 6" round ribbed barrel with Smith and Wesson 2-line top marking with standard pinned blade front sight. Nickel-plated frame with 6-shot 1 - 9/16" fluted cylinder with all matching numbers and non-factory 2-piece plain walnut grips. Case hardened trigger and hammer with blued, shaped trigger guard. CONDITION: 60% original nickel finish with light pitting and scratches and some light flaking and discoloration. Pistol has been cleaned, and grips are replaced. Good bore with sharp lands and grooves and crisp mechanics.
