Lot consists of: (A) Cuttoe with slightly curved double-fullered blade decorated for about 1/4 of its length with patriotic and foliate motifs on each side. Blade exhibits a dark patina with partially obscured decorations. Beaded cross quillon with flower at center. 1 quillon is broken. Hallmarks below guard. Green ivory grip decorated with a silver band. Open loops for accomodation of chain guard which is missing. Lion head pommel with large capstan. Grips exhibit a few cracks, and guard produces wobble when handled. Nice patina throughout. CONDITION: Fair. (B) Cuttoe with slightly curved blade with wide single fuller. Blade exhibits evidence of older polishing with scattered blemishes. Silver guard with small cross quillon and marked with a few hallmarks, wobbles when handled. Grooved ebony grip with scattered light chips and cracks. Decorated pommel with ring, slightly loose. CONDITION: Good.
