1 of 10,000 Model 25-3 revolvers manufactured to commemorate Smith & Wesson's 125th anniversary in 1977. Standard polished blue finish. Pinned 6-1/2" round barrel stamped on right in gold filled letters "SMITH & WESSON / 125TH ANNIVERSARY". Red insert ramped front sight and adjustable target rear. 6-shot fluted cylinder chambered in .45 Colt. N frame with commemorative gold-filled S&W anniversary monogram on right side. Fit with 2-piece smooth oversize Goncalo Alves target grips inset with nickeled S&W medallions. Housed in a correct blue velvet lined dovetailed mahogany presentation case with original, still unattached brass plaque and a fitted copy of Roy Jink's "125 Years with Smith & Wesson" book. Also included is the correct "125th Anniversary" marked 2-piece blue box with factory paperwork, commemorative belt buckle with hardwood display case and shipping sleeve, and book shipping box. CONDITION: Excellent, as new, retaining virtually all of its original finishes. Excellent bore appearing unfired since the factory. Case and accessories are very fine.
