Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1924. Blued 26" round Winchester Nickel Steel barrel in .32 W.S. with large blade front sight, Winchester No. 22 adjustable notch rear sight, and Lyman rear tang peep sight that appears factory installed. Blued takedown pistol grip action with plain trigger and blued 1/2 magazine. Rare plain checkered walnut pistol grip stock with "77" assembly number stamping that matches tang, blued crescent steel buttplate, and Winchester hard rubber grip cap. Matching plain checkered walnut forearm with blued nosepiece and takedown collar. CONDITION: 98% original barrel blue with light edge wear. 95% original action blue, with some areas starting to show a silvery patina coming through blue. 98% original varnish with light handling bruises and extremely nice checkering, still sharp to the touch. Excellent bore and mechanics. A super rare rifle with extreme original condition. Needs a box!
