Manufactured in London in the mid-19th century by Evans & Co. 11" spearpoint double-edged blade with fuller down the middle on both sides. Ricasso is of a unique design, with a pyramid in the center that slopes off. Unusual scalloped crossguard is about 4" wide. Checkered metal grip that swells as it approaches the pommel. CONDITION: Very good, with blade and grip remaining bright, with scattered light scratches and freckling. This knife was part of the Donald and Gloria Littman collection and was part of one of the largest knife auctions to date at Greg Martin Auction in 2008, and was published on page 200 of "Sheffield Exhibition Knives" by Bill Claussen, Brad Watts, Peter McMickle with introduction by Bill Adams.
