Davenport Knives have been published in Blade Magazine, Knives Illustrated, Knives Points of Interest, and several publications in Japan. He often worked with his close friend and legendary scrimshander, Rick Fields. This knife is an attractive example of one of their projects together. 3 - 1/2" Damascus leaf-shaped blade maker marked on left ricasso. Bolsters are austenitic Damascus steel. Grips are green mammoth ivory with a scrimshawed image of a wolf. Filework on the back side of the grip. CONDITION: Excellent+, and near mint with virtually all of the finishes remaining. Grips show no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine as knife locks tightly when extended.
