Matching full or partial serial numbers observed on left side of breech, bolt carrier, rear sight, locking block, lock frame stop, subframe, frame, back of hammer (which is also marked with the intertwined "NS" for Mauser's New Safety), and inside of grips. Magazine floorplate mismatched. Traditional late Bolo features. Stock has been renumbered; stamped with Mauser logo on right side. CONDITION: Metal has most of an old refinish with silvering and handling marks throughout, and consistent fine pitting underneath the blue. Some better color retained in the most recessed areas. Frame has pitting under the grips, probably from water. Mechanically fine, bore has strong rifling and light frosting. Stock is very good with some handling marks throughout, but fits well.
