Made by the J.M. Marlin Firearms Company New Haven, Connecticut between 1870-1881 with about 5,000 made; only 2,600 in .32 caliber. Blued 2 - 1/2" round swing out barrel with German silver blade front sight, extractor, under frame barrel release button, and marked "NEVER MISS". Brass frame with fluted sides, nickel plating, case hardened hammer, and spur trigger. Bird's head plain rosewood 2-piece grips. CONDITION: Blue thinning to a silvery patina. Plating has completely worn off with traces in protected areas. Frame a golden yellow patina. Grips have traces of original varnish. Dark bore with functioning mechanics.
