Made by the J.M. Marlin Firearms Company New Haven, Connecticut between 1870-1881 with about 5,000 made and under 1,000 in .41 caliber. Blued 2 - 1/2" round swing out .41 rimfire barrel marked "NEVER MISS" with German silver blade front sight, extractor, and under frame button barrel release. Brass frame with fluted sides, case hardened hammer, and spur trigger. Bird's head plain rosewood 2-piece grips. CONDITION: Blue thinning to a silvery patina with light pits. Frame has turned a golden brass patina. Grips have traces of original varnish. Dark bore with functioning mechanics.
