FN Model 1922 manufactured by Fabrique Nationale while under German occupation during World War II. Left side of slide is stamped with the manufacturer information, as well as with 2 "(Eagle)/ WaA140" waffenamts. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, slide extension, as well as on the barrel. Pistol is accompanied by a rare Krieghoff produced brown leather holster featuring a Krieghoff "H (Anchor) K" logo on the rear panel. CONDITION: Metal components retain good amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patina overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting some mild pitting throughout. Grips show some smoothing and a few scattered handling marks, but are otherwise fine. Holster exhibits mild overall wear, with some age related cracking.
