Deon Nel is a sought-after South African knifemaker who is consistently in the conversation for the best knifemaker in South Africa. He is a member of both the Knifemaker's Guild of South Africa as well as the Knifemaker's Guild. Nel is commonly referred to as the "Knife Whisperer" in knifemaking circles and is best known for creating Loveless-esque knives. 9 - 1/2" N690 clip point blade with 202 stainless steel Loveless Big Bear style hilt and subhilt. Grips are made from Desert Ironwood. Complete with tooled brown leather sheath with accenting large Pitiado panel down the center made by South African leatherworker Felicity McNemera. CONDITION: Excellent, with scattered freckling on one side of blade. Grips show no major signs of distress. Sheath is excellent+ with stitching and Pitiado tight, and leather pliable.
