Manufactured in the mid 19th century and Belgian proofed, this very attractive and unusual knuckle duster combines a handgun, folding Kris dagger blade bayonet, and folding brass knuckle grips into one very formidable street weapon as were popular with the ruthless Apache gangs of France. This brass framed example is marked on the left side "AISNE" and is fit with a flat, manually rotated 2-shot percussion barrel cluster, creating a slimmer profile than most period revolvers, ideal for concealment. CONDITION: Very good overall. Steel components have faded to gray patina. Brass exhibits a mellow patina, with the edges turning golden from handling. Action functions correctly, although the spring is somewhat light.
