Lot consists of: (A) US World War I era M1902 presentation sword with 32" spear point blade and 37 - 1/2" overall length. Blade heavily decorated with patriotic and foliate motifs for 3/4 of its length. Named "LIEUT. CHAUNCEY ARTHUR PIERCE" on blade. Left ricasso marked "RIDABOCK / & Co / NEW YORK / N.Y.". Decorated brass guard with wood grip. Nickel-plated scabbard with decorated brass mounts. Scabbard presentation reads "Presented to / Lieut. Chauncey Arthur Pierce / by the members of Co. K. 23 Inf. N.G.N.Y. / April 21 1914". The blade remains bright with scattered blemishes and loss to the gold-washed panels. Guard with pleasing patina and scattered blemishes, grip with a few light dents. Scabbard exhibits scattered blemishes with tight mounts. CONDITION: Very good. (B) US M1902 presentation sword with 32" spear point blade and 37 - 1/2" overall length. Blade heavily decorated with patriotic and foliate motifs for 3/4 of its length. Named "Daniel Wolff" on blade. Left ricasso marked "RIDABOCK / & Co / NEW YORK / N.Y.". Decorated brass guard with wood grip. Nickel-plated scabbard with decorated brass mounts. Scabbard presentation reads "Presented to / CAPT. DANIEL WOLFF / by Co. B, 22nd Regt. Engineers / N.G.N.Y. February 6th 1905.". The blade remains bright with only light blemishes. Guard with pleasing patina and scattered blemishes, and intact grip. Hilt is slightly loose. Scabbard exhibits scattered blemishes with light patina and tight mounts. CONDITION: Very good.
