Manufactured by the American Optical Co. in 1951 for use in the Korean War, where these optics saw heavy use, largely mounted to M1 and M2 carbines. This example is accompanied by a period military hard case, mount, and foregrip. CONDITION: Good overall. Scope appears intact and retains the vast majority of its original finishes with some scuffing and evidence of use. Not function tested. Case has a section of loss on the lid, the piece retained and partially reattached with a period repair. Case is otherwise stable.
