Manufactured 1920 per serial number. Classic configuration of Colt's pocket pistol with 2 line 1 block patent and address information on the left side of slide, with uncircled pony at rear, right side with "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE 25" on right side under ejection port. Trigger guard with "90" subinspector proof on right side, "W" and VP proofs on left. Case colored trigger, grip safety, and thumb safety, 2 piece grips with raised Rampant Colt and "COLT" in banner. 2 tone magazine, hangtag attached to trigger guard. In a Colt maroon flip-top box with cleaning brush, safety brochure, Vest Pocket brochure, and trade labels; serial number on bottom is for a different gun. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the Colt blue with some very minor marks from handling and storage. Extremely minor silvering to the highest edges, some typical age-related random superficial scratches and marks. Appropriate distension about some proofs from application of stamp. Mechanically fine, bore has good visible rifling and even oxidation. Box is very good with typical age related scrapes and corner wear, but solid and complete.
