Manufactured by Colt after the popularity of converting 1911s to smaller frames and slides took off, particularly the Detonics conversions. Officer-sized slide and frame with an aftermarket oversized barrel bushing, typical Colt rollmarks, and golden medallion walnut grips. Series 80 firing pin block safety in place. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick collection. CONDITION: Overall very good, with some marks from handling and use throughout, including some light speckling; Dick clearly carried and shot this gun often. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with heavy frosting.
