Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1917. Plain 24" blued octagonal factory Winchester Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address and extra post-factory assembled barrel proofmark; marked "MODEL 90" and "22 WRF" with fully blued tubular magazine. Standard front sight with standard rear sight and Lyman Tang peep. Blued takedown frame with blued bolt and plain trigger. Standard configuration walbut stocks with case-hardened crescent steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick Collection. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with light freckling, 5% remaining action blue (most on bolt, indicating a possible old replacement). 10% varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Dark bore with visible rifling; crisp mechanics.
