VIS-35 manufactured at the Radom arsenal in Poland while under German occupation during World War II. The left side of the slide bears the manufacturer and model information, as well as several partially discernible "(Eagle) / 77" and "(Eagle) / 623) waffenamts. Metal components exhibit a lustrous reapplied blue finish, with the top of the slide exhibiting a matte blued finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic "FB" and "VS" marked grips. Slide and barrel do not match frame, but match each other. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some spots of minor wear, some scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as areas of pitting present beneath the bluing. Bore is bright, exhibiting some mild pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some mild smoothing and a few scattered handling marks, but are otherwise fine.
