A second variation pistol manufactured circa 1924 to 1934. Crown "N" proofed with a 2" barrel chambered in .25 ACP, half moon front sight, and u-notch rear. Blued finish throughout. Frame and slide are very attractively embellished with special order bold relief oak leaf and foliate scroll engraving over matted backgrounds. Approximately 70% coverage. PROVENANCE: From the advanced collection of the esteemed and respected Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the original factory blue is retained throughout with a few freckles. Grips have a few handling marks. Strong, frosted bore. Mechanically fine. A very attractive example.
