According to the Colt Factory archive letter, Single Action Army serial number 353604 shipped as a .45 Colt with a 7 - 1/2" barrel, blue finish, and unlisted stocks. It was shipped to Geller, Ward & Hasner Hardware in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 5, 1930, in 1 gun shipment. It has 2-piece hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt logo at the top of each one. Single line barrel address "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT." on top of the barrel. Rolled caliber mark on the left side of the barrel "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". 2-line patent and Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. PROVENANCE: From the advanced collection of the esteemed and respected Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Gun remains in stunning condition. It retains virtually all of the factory applied blue finish. Vivid case color on the frame and hammer. Grips are sharp and crisp with virtually no visible wear. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
