Made by Colt Firearms Company from 1875 to 1912 with approximately 45,000 made. Polished finish 2 - 1/2" round barrel with factory bead front sight and "COLT" marking. Floral pattern engraved brass frame with spur trigger. Engraving similar to work by Cuno Helfricht. Standard 2-piece bird's head pearl grips. PROVENANCE: From the advanced collection of the esteemed and respected Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: 95% original finish with light edge wear on barrel. Sharp visible engraving with finish turning gray, brass turning a golden yellow patina. Grips with light scratches and small chip out of left grip. Dark bore with crisp mechanics and sharp rifling. A nice Colt.
